A Wall Street trader sets up an illegal deal over the weekend, based on insider information, but the FTC investigator doesn't confirm his hypothesis that the trader has committed the crime until the next Friday. Does it follow that "the trader committed the crime" wasn't true on the weekend but became true on the next Friday, just because it was confirmed?
